A children’s house

Children who come to Netherton will find that they are entering into a warm, safe and stimulating environment. We know from the teachings of Maria Montessori that learning is a serious business for small children and we are there to help them.  At the same time children are full of fun. With us they are encouraged to be themselves, free from judgment or reprimand. They are given time to be sociable and relax, yet the children also know they will be able to work in peace, undisturbed. There is an atmosphere of trust in which teachers and children respect each other.  The classroom is also the subject of much care and attention.
